Just unmatched with a woman on a dating app who wants a dual income household and wants to put future children in daycare. Crazy that some American women are this obsessed with dual income life that they will sacrifice their babies’ well-being. Simply bonkers!
In regards to the sleeping separately- I've heard a few reasons are because of the belief that they'll sleep better, they're too noisy, or that a child should sleep in their own room. When my husband and I were expecting our LO, his parents pushed hard for us to immediately have a separate room despite us stating that I'd breastfeed. I can't imagine why people would want to make a breastfeeding mother get up to walk to a separate room to feed her baby, when she's healing postpartum. I also think that's cruel to the baby and I've said this before in a different space and was called judgemental.

I was heavily inspired by her work, so you’re right on the money

Indeed, the solution is less childcare
